Stories you might have missed : "Death in the Afternoon"

The story so far. This time last week the boss of LEGO stopped making LEGO and decided he needed a break. He decided to leave Denmark and to go on holiday at the Swiss resort of Verbier, which is where the girlfriend of Dustin Hoffman in Marathon Man told his brother, Roy Schnider that she came from. "I'm from Verbier" she said.
The LEGO boss expects to do nothing more than mountain climb and learn Swiss language, and then go back to Denmark and continue making LEGO bricks at the factory. He leaves Denmark by plane and arrives in Verbier airport 2 hours later. The first few days nothing much happened. He took some saunas, learnt a bit of Swiss, did some shopping and ate quite a few steaks. He was enjoying not having to make plastic coloured LEGO bricks, that was the main thing about it. Then on Friday evening while eating a Swiss cheese fondu he decided he would 'go skiing'.

[Note, the slope on which Mr Halbye was injured is known for being 'difficult', according to Le Nouvelliste. It is not known at this time if any punitive action will be taken against the slope. Local mayor, Fritz Von Sausage has called for the slope, 'to be leveled', "inch by inch"]

Now read on.
