they should introduce handicaps, to offset better tyre arrangements. Riders with better tyres must wear dressing gowns, possibly also slippers. The best tyre users might also wear a nightcap. This would led to technological advances in dressing gown and slipper design, which is something we could all do with. (Night caps not so much. A nightcap is a nightcap, unless it's alcoholic, then it's a drink.) But that could be another handicap, make riders drink two glasses of whiskey before heading off. This would, among other things, make the riders funnier and make falling off less painful.
