Japan has houses for hundreds of pounds because villages and towns in the centre are dying through population decrease. I went to one town where it’s possible. I could definitely, live there. It wasn’t actually that different except in good ways, no crime, no grafitti , polite people etc. everyone I met in Japan was friendly.
